Birth is a moment, postpartum is forever
The postpartum period comes with big changes, grief, joy and everything in between which is why there is a strong need for emotional processing and nervous system care.
Nath’s main role as a Postpartum Doula is providing emotional support for birthing people and/or their partners who are navigating life after the birth of a child, stillbirth, miscarriage, adoption, surrogacy, or after an abortion. She is passionate about working with BIPOC folks, first-time parents, immigrants or child of immigrants, people who are not in the traditional family dyad, and those who have experienced sexual assault.
If you are someone reaching the postpartum part of pregnancy or are already in the 4th trimester, you can book a consultation to talk through your needs and how Nath can support you. There is a sliding scale pricing model (see below) to keep these offerings as accessible as possible.
*Nath’s doula practice honors the gender expansiveness of those in postpartum and when speaking generally about clients will use gender neutral language like “perinatal” instead of “maternal” and “chest feeding” instead of “breast feeding”. Nath’s practice also recognizes the damage white supremacy and settler colonialism, such as the ongoing genocide in Palestine, has over each and every one of our sense of agency and safety over our reproductive health. Meeting yourself and one another with deeper networks of care is a form of resistance against these oppressive systems. Learn more below on the offerings Nath offers to get you closer to developing a more symbiotic relationship with yourself in this new life phase .
